- Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden -
Today we went to the absolutely beautiful Botanical gardens in Dallas, Texas. After deciding to skip the gardens in Denver - we totally couldn't be bothered to walk the hour and a half round trip — we both really wanted to see what Dallas could offer.
Although costing a $15 dollar entry and $15 dollar parking fee (ouch) we still rolled with it and by god, was it worth it.
Being a city girl myself, seeing pretty flowers doesn't exactly constitute as my kind of fun, however this was definitely a special case. Being able to sit and hear nothing but the birds and bees flying around was absolitey indescribable. Especially after the crazy 3 months we'd both just had working at Camp Chi.
Its silent tranquility was absolutely mesmerising.
If we ever find ourselves back in Dallas, we'll definitely give it another visit.
